In England they are dubbed 'bangers', the Australians refer to them as 'snags' but without doubt they form an integral part of the traditional Great British Breakfast. The British Butcher Shoppe offers a range and variety that extends the breakfast tradition to lunch, dinner or supper. A good sausage calls for the freshest of ingredients from the meat to the herbs and spices.

For the British there is nothing quite like a well-cooked pork sausage with a smidgen of English mustard and a dash of HP sauce or perhaps a bit of tomato ketchup. Served in a sandwich, while still hot, with generously buttered bread, makes for a fabulous treat.
Every nation produces a sausage of some description, hot and spicy, cooked, dried, or smoked. For the Germans it is the bratwurst, Spain has its chorizo, the French enjoy garlic saucisson, for Italians it has to be salami, whilst for the Americans the hot dog is a cherished national institution.

Every country has its own way of serving its sausage. Hot, straight from the barbeque, or pan fried with a generous helping of their favourite gravy, or even cold with simple rustic bread. Now the British are a strange folk with their traditional eccentric named dish "toad in the hole", a concoction of sausages served in a roasted batter.
Whatever your preference you will be spoilt for choice at the British Butcher Shoppe.
